Tricks:

• Press and hold the ctrl + shift + C button
• Katching: Add §1,000
• Motherlode: Add §50,000
• Move object [On or Off]: Toggle objects can be placed anywhere in Buy/Build mode
• Resetsim [Firstname Lastname]: Resets the Sim with neutral motives, no moodlets, and teleports Sim back home. Useful if they got stuck. Very useful if they just died and have not disappeared yet, like a Sim dies at the corner and sits there for weeks without the Grim Reaper coming to pick them up, and it makes it so they haven't died. 
• familyfunds [Household] [Amount]: Sets the amount of Simoleons of the family to [AMOUNT]. For example, 'familyfunds Landgraab 10000' sets the family funds of the Landgraab household to 10,000 Simoleons, even if they originally had 50,000 simoleons. (If a space is used in a household's name (such as De Luca), the name must be surrounded by quotation marks. The cheat for the De Luca family would look like this: familyfunds "De Luca" 4000) 
• buydebug [on or off]: Unlocks a Buy Mode slot with many debug objects such as Butterfly, Beetle, Gem, Meteor generators, mature Plants, the Mysterious Mr. Gnome, the toy box's toys, etc.

• Watch your own video or movie on the TV
• Place your video into the "/My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 3/Movies/Broadcast/[television station]" folder. The video must be in .AVI format, with a resolution no larger than 128x128 pixels, and frame rate not greater than 15 frames per second. Turn on the TV in the game, and you can watch it.
• Listen your own music on the radio
• Place your own song into the "/My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 3/Music/[radio station]" folder. The music must be in .MP3 format. Start the game, go to "Options" menu, select "Music Settings", then choose radio station. Select which songs you want the radio to play.
• Have baby boy/girl
• Have a pregnant female Sim. Eat watermelons to increase the chance of having a girl.
• Have a pregnant female Sim. Eat apples to increase the chance of having a boy.
• Have multiple babies
• To increase the chance of having twins or triplets, have one or both parents have the lifetime reward of "Fertility Treatment".
• Have ghost baby 
• Set one of your female Sim's traits to Kleptomaniac. Go to the graveyard, and have the Sim steal male remains. On the second day after putting the male remains in your home, a ghost will appear at 11:00 p.m. until at 4:00 a.m. It will appear everyday. Socialize with the ghost every night it appears. When you become best friends with the ghost, it will begin appearing every night. Get the "Fertility" reward. Confess your attraction to the ghost. Ask to snuggle on the bed, and kiss him. "Try for a baby" every night until you start throwing up. And then you will now have a ghost baby that you can control.
• Change your name
• Go to the map, and find City Hall. It should give you an option to change your name during the day between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• New Clothes
• Buy a dresser from "Buy Options". Once there, click "Plan Outfit". You can put a total of three different clothes for each type (formal, every day, athletic, etc.)

The Sims 3

The sims 3 is a strategic life simulation video game that developed by The Sims Studio and published by Electronic Arts. It was realeased for OS X and Microsoft Windows for the first time on June 2, 2009, released to game consoles and smartphones on October 26, 2010, for PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, Android, and iOS, released for Windows Phone on October 15, 2010, and released for Nintendo 3DS on March 27, 2011.

If you play the sims 3, you can build your own city, house, mall, store, family, neighbor, etc. You can control someone's activity and his/her life. The sims will grow from baby, child, teen, adult, and elder. When your child and teen, you must go to school every morning, and police will catch you if you go outside home at the midnight. When you grow up to be adult, you will engaged, married, and have child.

The sims 3 has expansion packs and stuff packs. It will make your sims complete.
